Dressing the part: Fall Weather

For me, fall is all about the chunky knits, lots of layers and bold new accessories. I love seeing the rich colors embark and all the fun new styles people create. I am the worst at going out in public and people watching. Simply because I just want to see how others style they're looks. Last week I shared with you that i don’t really do the whole sweater trend cause I have the hardest tine finding ones that I like. Well, this week, I was feeling overly inspired and found so many goodies for fall!

One of them being this look! These blue corduroy jeans have been in my closet for a couple of years now, and after a good overhaul of cleaning out my closet (Eminem’s song popped into my head as I wrote that haha) I found them and knew this sweater would be the perfect companion. The jeans are so soft and incredibly comfortable. They will definitely be a staple for me this fall. Anyone else thrilled that corduroys are coming back into style? I’ve always had a love for the softness of them and how easily transferable they are from work to play.

With fall comes sweaters. Even for those who don’t tend to wear them as often (*cue me waving my hand*). This sweater is by far the coziest I’ve worn thus far. The pretty navy and white stripes kind of give a nautical feel, which lets face it, all of us are dreaming of the warm weather already! And the falling leaves scattered across the side makes it feel so homey and fall.-esc This is a perfect sweater that can be worn dressed down with jeans and sneaks on the weekend, or styled up with a crisp button-up underneath, tucked into a pencil skirt or slacks for work.

Lets not forget about this darling suede jacket! First, look at that color? I mean, I’m in love! Such a perfect fall color that comes back every year and is always a stylists favorite. This hue works well on most skin colors without washing anyone out and adding a little rosiness to their cheeks. I love how it gives the casual vibe from the militaristic style but can easily be dressed up for work. Stick a collared blouse underneath or a dressy cami with a skirt and viola, off to work you go!

And last but certainly not least, the accessories! As Coco Chanel said herself once, “No outfit is complete without accessories” we all must listen to the master of the fashion industry. These beauties are actually apart of Rocksbox, the jewelry subscription service that basically allows you to borrow pieces to try out before you buy. Each month they send you 3 new pieces based on your style quiz and you get to keep them as long as you’d like. If you want to keep a piece or all of them, simply apply your monthly fee as a credit towards your pieces. If you don’t love them or are looking to freshen up your jewelry game, send the items back and they will send you a new set. Its that easy and keeps your wardrobe always looking new! Right now I’m offering a code to get your first month FREE! Give it a try by using code CLASSYNSASSYSTYLINGXOXO and see what you think without spending a dime! Let me know what you think, I’m currently addicted to refreshing the site and seeing what I’m going to get next ;)

Anyways, I hope you all have a lovely week! Xo,

Sarah
